Dozens of feather-like sterling silver shapes link together to form this dramatic collar necklace that encircles the neck, tracing the collarbone and framing the face beautifully. Taken from an original design in the Georg Jensen archives, this stunning example of mid-century Scandinavian jewelry retains a sense of occasion that works as well today as when first conceived. Established in Copenhagen in 1904, the Georg Jensen house creates serene forms enriched by exquisite details and a sculptor’s sense of proportion. The ideas and principles of the master himself are translated into Georg Jensen designs of the present day.
